Entre la lluvia
y las luces
vi el número 5
en dorado
en un camión de bomberos
rojo
moviéndose
tenso
ignorado
hacia sonidos metálicos
el ulular de sirenas
y ruedas girando
por la oscura ciudad.

Among the rain
and lights
I saw the figure 5
in gold
on a red
firetruck
moving
tense
unheeded
to gong clangs
siren howls
and wheels rumbling
through the dark city.
